Guardian Oak Growth by Giving Association

Located on Guardian Oak Farm near Moberly, MO, Guardian Oak Growth by Giving Association (GO) is a 501c3 with a mission to serve the healing and sanctuary needs of at-risk and under-served animals and people through therapeutic, creative, and recreational activities. Some of our main programs include equine assisted therapeutic activities, community garden, art studio, community cat/TNR program, and the horse rescue operation.

Volunteer

GO accepts both individual and groups of volunteers for a wide array of projects - sign up online to get involved! Some of our big projects seeking dedicated volunteers include work on the community garden and art studio, maintenance and repairs around the farm such as painting barns and fixing/installing fences, summer camp and event staffing, and ground work/riding with the horses and other resident critters. Don't let distance keep you from helping out though! We accept remote volunteers as well - everything from helping maintain this website to working on marketing, media and outreach projects are available and helpful!

Participate

Please contact us if you or your child or organization would like to participate in our programs such as volunteerism, summer camp, horseback riding lessons, horsemanship lessons, or activities in the art studio or community garden. Our offerings depend on your expressed interest and availability of volunteers to assist - we welcome parents interested in participating with their children! We are happy to present for or arrange special events, learning days or service days on the farm for your Scout Troop, 4-H club, fraternity, civic club or other organization.
